Yell Creative is proud to announce that we are official sponsors and supporters of the very first Mumbrella Finance Marketing Summit, which takes place in Sydney on 22nd September. The event program is planned for a full day of interesting and engaging market specific insights from some of Australia’s top financial businesses and agencies. The finance industry has a huge part to play in our country’s economy, in fact the ABS released official figures in February this year noting that ‘Finance and insurance services were the fastest growing sector’ in the country.


Not only does the Summit align perfectly with what we do best here at Yell, it also coincides with the official launch of our long-awaited report on the State of Financial Services Marketing in Australia in 2016. Earlier this year we sent out a survey to marketing professionals across Australia, across all aspects of the finance industry (banking, wealth management, superannuation, insurance etc.) and, over the past couple of months, we have been collating and reviewing all the results. The insights from the report will help us and the industry to understand trends and opinions around a variety of topics such as:

  • the key focus areas for marketing in financial services,
  • trends in marketing investment – where is spend growing and reducing
  • what hurdles these marketers face and,
  • how they feel about the rise of disruption and ‘Fintech’.

We will be sending out a copy of the report to everyone who participated, however, if you were unable to take part, please feel free to contact us and we will make sure you receive a copy.

Marketing has evolved rapidly over the last decade, becoming a much more complex landscape to navigate, (for example; the realisation of digital, data segmentation, mobile, social media and content creation). With all these new avenues for communication, marketers are unanimously time poor. Therefore it seems fitting for Mumbrella to introduce a targeted finance marketing event that brings a concentrated approach to the speakers and their insights.
